Applicants must be sponsored by a Jannus Chapter member in good standing and/or an employee at MacDill AFB, Florida.
For complete eligibility requirements and an application, please contact Joseph Winchester at (586)201-0729 or president@tonyjannuschapter.org.
- Quarterly Award Program
Each quarter, the Tony Jannus Chapter of the Airlift/Tanker Association (A/TA) presents two enlisted members with a quarterly award. This award is based on how the individual's performance has contributed to Air Mobility. I know there are numerous hard workers and future leaders that we would like to submit for Squadron/Base Quarterly awards, but they do not have the well-rounded package. The A/TA award is a great way to submit these deserving individuals for an award based on job performance only. Please pass the following on to your supervisors.
Looking For A Way to Reward Your Top Performers?
Did you know that MacDill AFB's Tony Jannus Chapter of the Airlift/Tanker Association sponsors an award program? When you get that many people --Enlisted, Officer, Civil Service, Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve--working together to further Air Mobility, great things happen. Within each category for E-1 to E-4, and E-5 to E-6 members from all five services, (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard), compete for base-wide honors, winning an Airlift/Tanker Association Performer of the Quarter trophy, a free lunch, and the option of joining the Tony Jannus Chapter. The theme for nomination packages is "How the Individual's Performance Contributed to Air Mobility". Nominee must be stationed at MacDill AFB, (no attached personnel). Simply type five main bullets, with no more than two supporting sub-bullets (maximum of 15 lines), on an AF Form 1206 (save in .xfd format) listing actions and results during the quarter (Do not add filler or job descriptions, focus on job performance).
